Club History

Cloverdale Comets was formed in 2006 by a group of parents who wanted to teach kids the fundamentals of diamond sports with fun, fair play and family involvement at Miles Park, Cloverdale.

Those same parents also wanted to play, with each other and their friends and we commenced playing Softball at Dale Districts in Langford.

Fast forward over a decade, and we now have over 200 players enjoying diamond sports at our new home at Redcliffe Park in Redcliffe and Dale Districts in Langford all year round. Even with strong success in state and district championships, our legacy is most certainly the hundreds of friendships built through a love of diamond sports, with many of our adult players enjoying friendships that go as far back as their original teeball days!
